Toledo

Even the guidebook that I bought has a disclaimer, not promising that it could explain the mystique that surrounds Toledo. It is no surprise then that my first visit in this historic city (the whole city is a world heritage site) feels like just barely scratching the surface of what Toledo can offer. Three cultures, one city. Before Madrid became the capital of Spain, Toledo has already accumulated more than thousand years of history! At one point in time, Muslims, Jews and Christians actually co-exist peacefully in this city.
